By Victor Gueco Ramos

My dad was a very good son. He obeyed and pleased his father because he loved him and was grateful. He excelled in school and worked very hard to be the best he could be in order that he could serve others well. As a fellow in Pathology and later as a professor, Surgical Pathologist and leader in his profession, he earned the highest respect and regard of his mentors, classmates, superiors, colleagues, associates, students, co-workers and friends with whom he unselfishly shared his knowledge, experience and wisdom.
